Pre-Climb Preparation

Simple Itinerary to Climbing Mt. Kanlaon
Day 1: Arrival and Registration
- Arrive in Dumaguete City
- Travel to the jump-off point in Canlaon City (about a 3-4 hours drive)
- Register at the Department of Environment and Natural Resource (DENR) office and attend the orientation
- Start the trek to the base camp (about 3-4 hours trek)
Day 2: Summit Assault
- Wake up early and have breakfast
- Start the trek to the summit (about 5-6 hours trek)
- Enjoy the view at the summit and take photos
- Descend back to the base camp (about 4-5 hours trek)
- Have dinner and rest for the night
Day 3: Descent
- Wake up early and have breakfast
- Trek back to the jump-off point (about 3-4 hours trek)
- Travel back to Dumaguete City
